One year ago today we were figuring out how to rebuild after Hurricane Ian flooded the studio and the city of Naples. Many of you have suffered through the lose of your home and personal belongings. BUT, we are coming back stronger then ever and it’s time to celebrate! We would love for you to join us to celebrate our 9 month anniversary date after finally opening in January of 2023.

We have had a blast the last few months growing together and building an amazing, powerful health and wellness studio. My dream was to create a place where golfers, tennis players, and pickleball players could get stronger and more athletic. And I wanted to provide HOPE to people who have become physically lost. And that is exactly what we are doing every day! You can get stronger. You can have more energy. And you can live a better life. No matter what “storm” has washed up in your life.

What The Research Says

In an independent study of 116 women, the group using the Power Plate saw a 4.3% increase in bone density while the group that did not use Power Plate lost 1.9% in bone density.

A study by Ritzmann et al found that when two groups were given an identical exercise regimen, the group that completed their exercise regimen on a whole body vibration plate (Power Plate) saw a 13% increase in balance control compared to a 6% increase in the group that completed the exercises on the ground. Working out on a powerplate doubled the gains in balance seen by the participants (13% vs 6%).

Is Power Plate Safe?

Do power plates classes really work?

Hundreds of independent research studies have confirmed what we see in our studio every day. Power Plate is an extremely effective and safe way to build muscle, improve balance and flexibility, build bone density, strengthen your core, and get a great workout in a short amount of time! 

How often should you use a Power Plate?

You can use vibration every day for stretching and recovery. We recommend one day of rest between strength training sessions to allow your muscles to recover. For best results, we suggest 2-3 strength training sessions a week. 

Is power plate easy to use?

Yes, but we understand it can be intimidating! That’s why we offer two weeks of one-on-one personal training to all new clients. Our skilled trainers will walk you through the workout every step of the way, helping you with form and making sure you are getting the most out of your workout in a safe way. After working with our trainers for two weeks, you will be a Power Plate pro, ready to jump into classes with confidence.

Who Should Not Use Power Plate?

The only people who should not use Power Plate are those who are pregnant. Anyone who has been cleared for exercise by their doctor is able to use Power Plate.

How can power plate classes help with my Golf Game?

Power Plate is an extremely effective tool for teaching your body how to move for golf. Improve balance, upper body strength, lower body power, rotational speed, and flexibility with our unique, 30-minute workouts. Our trainers our TPI Golf Fitness certified, and our studio is owned by two expert PGA golf professionals.

How can power classes help with my Tennis Game?

Did you know Serena Williams uses Power Plate? The increased strength, balance, and power that comes from Power Plate builds your body in an extremely effective way. Using Power Plate and Bemer for recovery after tennis can reduce injuries and stress, allowing you to continue playing the game you love.

Whether your goal is to gain muscle, burn fat, improve balance, decrease pain, or hit the ball farther, Fit For You bases our program design around results. We use a variety of assessment tools to ensure each client is reaching their individual goals. We are not just another fitness class. We are your accountability partner on your journey to your best self.

How is success measured?

Fit For You is about feeling great from the inside out, and building a body that can allow you to do what you love for the long term. We use a variety of measurement tools, including the InBody Body Composition machine to measure muscle gains and visceral fat loss (around your organs), blood pressure monitoring, flexibility and balance assessments.

Fit For You offers results-based accountability training based on the best scientific research in the field. Using our top of the line technology, we will change your body from the inside out in 90 days or less. We have offer limited membership in our small boutique studio, which allows us to provide our clients with personalized attention and care. How long does it take to show resutls?

While each person is unique, clients have seen a noticeable improvement in flexibility after just one session. Noticeable improvements in balance and core strength can be seen in as few as 6 sessions. For most clients, achieving their fitness goals requires a 3 month commitment.

What if I have a pre existing injury?

Anyone who is cleared for exercise by their doctor is able to use Power Plate. Power Plate has the unique ability to build muscle in those who are unable to do traditional forms of exercise, including walking or standing. Communicate with your trainer about all pre-existing injuries and conditions so that we can provide you with the best program to meet your individual needs.
